My primary area of experience is supporting clients who have experienced trauma and/or have been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), including childhood or adult sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, and workplace trauma specifically for first responders and military members. My experience also includes supporting clients to address challenges due to a variety of other mental health and wellness concerns including depression, anxiety, panic, phobias, self-esteem, grief, addiction, stress and relationship dynamics.

Therapy can help you to better understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, physical reactions and behaviours and how they influence each other. I use evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

I strive to create a safe therapeutic environment that is nonjudgemental, client-centered and collaborative. Therapy can help you to better understand and navigate mental health obstacles as well as learn new skills to cope. You deserve more than just surviving; I’d like to help you to thrive!
